George Landegger - The Essence of Industrialism

George Landegger
George Landegger is a CEO, army veteran and philanthropist who embraces the spirit of industrialism. Throughout his 77 years of life, he has been able to lead others and create jobs through instilling the basic values of industrialism into everything that he does. Below are some of the main values an industrialist believes in.

Mass Production

Industries are best classified as so by their abilities to distribute their product or service on a massive scale. And when they do so, they usually utilize the resourcefulness that helps them find ways to make the manufacturing process cheaper. This helps drive business, which brings us to another value…

Job Creation

Industrialists are job creators because they need employees to make all those wheels turn. So by creating factories and other means of mass-production, they create the jobs needed to manufacture the goods and then push those products or services to consumers. Not only does this process create a better economy, but it has the potential to build new communities and micro economies through urban development.

George Landegger has displayed his sense of industrialism throughout his professional career. In the forest products industry, he has thrived through building warehouses throughout the State of Alabama and helping bring big business to small towns. In the financial business, he has harbored growth through his works as Chairman of Parsons & Whittemore, a family investment fund.
